Taking It to the Streets: 1950s NY through the Lens of Flushing Photographer Frank Oscar Larson documented New York in the 1950s. When we view Larson’s work 60 years later, we still see ourselves, even if New York has changed around us.

The photographs of Kissena park, downtown Flushing and Astoria pool were among many featured.  Loaned from the collection of his grandson Soren Larson, Flushing resident & photographer Frank Oscar Larson’s artifacts: camera, lenses, various photo equipment, light meter were exhibited along with his work.

This exhibition was on display until August 6th, 2017 at Flushing Town Hall.
