We’ve missed you so much and look forward to welcoming you back to Kingsland Homestead when we reopen on August 25. As the health and safety of everyone have always been our top priority, we will reopen with limited capacity. Entry is by advance timed ticket only (on sale beginning today)!

Open Hours: Tuesdays, 2 – 4 pm. Time windows: 2:00 to 2:30 pm; 2:30- 3:00 pm; 3:00 to 3:30 pm; 3:30 to 4:00 pm. Tickets: Tickets must be reserved online and no walk-ins are accepted. Reservations are limited to up to two visitors per order. Either before or upon your arrival, please fill out the Screening Form at your earliest convenience. **Please arrive during the 30-minute window of your timed ticket. If your plans change and you are unable to visit during your selected day/time, contact info@queenshistoricalsociety.org for a refund or to change your selection.** Reserve Your Ticket Now

Before You Visit, please read through the following Visitor Safety Guidelines

  1. Upon entering the museum, you will be asked questions about recent health conditions. You are responsible for answering the questions honestly.
  2. Upon entering the museum, your temperature measurement will be taken by our staff member/volunteer with the contactless thermometer. You will be refused to enter if the temperature measured is greater than or equal to 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
  3. Face coverings are required for all visitors over the age of 2. CDC guidelines advise that face coverings should: Reach above the nose, below the chin, and completely cover the mouth and nostrils; Fit snugly against the sides of the face.
  4. Physical distancing is required; visitors should stay at least 6 feet (about two arms’ length) from others and from groups.
  5. Hand sanitizer is also available at the entrance of the Museum.
  6. Please cover your cough while in the Museum.
  7. Stay home if you are feeling sick. For more information about COVID-19, check the CDC website
  8. An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public space where people are present. We cannot guarantee that you will not be exposed to COVID-19 during your visit. Those visiting QHS do so at their own risk of such exposure.
  9. Please follow the instructions of our staff/docent.
  10. Visitors who do not respect social distancing or hand hygiene requirements may be refused service and asked to leave the site.
