A Call to Arms! Flushing and the Civil War

Join us at Kingsland Homestead on November 16th at 2pm for the opening of our latest gallery exhibition, A Call to Arms! Flushing and the Civil War!

The gallery opening will be followed by a brief slide show presentation on the Flushing battery, the Hamilton Rifles, and what life in Flushing was like during the days of The Great Rebellion. 

Also on display will be quilts made Thadine Wormly-Herndon, depicting Black history and culture!
