Brooklyn historian Brian Merlis will discuss his 312-page photo book which covers the struggle and accomplishments of African Americans in Brooklyn and Queens during the last four hundred years. His book is profusely Illustrated with several hundred never-before-seen photographs that document this incredible story. A slide show presentation will be followed by Q & A.
